ISP (Internet service provider): a Company that provides the internet signal sent to your home via your telephone line or cable connection.
DSL Modem: A device used to connect to your ISP (Internet service provider) via your home Telephone line.
Switch/Router: Sometimes in combination with a DSL Modem, This device works as a junction point for all the computers to connect to the Modem.
Network Printer: A Printer that connects via a network cable to the Switch and is available to all computers on the network.
